On March 15th, 2020 the president of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, announced that the country would be under a state of emergency.
It is important to note that simple tasks such as practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing can have a great affect on the spread of infectious pathogens such as the COVID-19 virus.
